Welcome to The Blacksmiths Arms. By visiting our premises, using our services, or making a booking, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

We aim to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.
Customers are expected to:

• Treat staff and other guests with respect
   
• Follow staff instructions where necessary
   
• Drink responsibly
   
• Ensure children are supervised at all times
   
• Keep dogs on leads and under control (where permitted)
   

We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

• Guests must be 18 or over to purchase or consume alcohol.
   
• ID may be requested at any time (Acceptable forms: Passport, Driving Licence, PASS card).
   
• Under 18s are welcome with a responsible adult but may be restricted from certain areas depending on time/day.
   

When placing a booking:

• Please arrive on time or notify us if you are running late
   
• Tables are held for 15 minutes unless you contact us
   
• Party sizes may be limited depending on availability
   
• Special requests will be accommodated where possible but are not guaranteed
   

Cancellations:

• Please let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking
   
• Large group bookings may require a deposit (refundable or non-refundable terms will be provided at the time of booking)
   

Please inform a member of staff of any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering.
Ingredient information is available on request.

Menu items may change without notice due to availability.

Any service charge or optional gratuity will be clearly communicated.
All tips go directly to staff.

We accept:

• Major debit and credit cards
   
• Contactless payments
   

We do not offer credit or tabs unless agreed by management.

For private events:

• Deposits may be required
   
• Specific cancellation policies will apply
   
• Outside food or drink is not permitted unless agreed by management
   

Event bookings may include additional terms depending on the nature of the event.

Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Both are strictly prohibited inside the pub.

• Dogs are welcome in designated areas only
   
• Owners are responsible for their pets’ behaviour
   
• Any damage caused by animals may incur a charge
   

CCTV operates throughout the premises for safety and security.
Footage is stored securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for:

• Loss of personal items
   
• Damage to personal property
   
• Items left behind after your visit
   

Found items will be kept for a short period before disposal.

Guests may be charged for any damage caused to pub property, furnishings, or equipment—whether accidental or deliberate.

We accept no liability for injuries or accidents resulting from misuse of the premises or failure to follow staff instructions.
